The Men's Ministry of Townsville City Church exists to connect our faith in everyday life with where men are at no matter what role or season of life they are in - as husbands, sons and fathers, as workers. Men everywhere want to know how to do life and do it well. We call it developing our CORE strength. 

 

 

Commitment 

In this day and age, words like faithfulness, trustworthy or conviction are non-trading commodities. They become the backbone of a persons work ethic, lifestyle and relationship. Our Men's group seeks to strengthen the commitment to ourselves to be real men. We will not be swayed by the environemnt or the ituations we find ourselves in. 

 

Outreach 

One of the core values of manhood is to be significant. We all want to be conquerors and mountain climbers - even if we are conquering our own fears and the mountains we climb are mental. To outreach to others is to be a person of significance. Men should never live their lives in the shadows, but rather be there to stand shoulder to shoulder with their brothers. 

 

Role Modeling 

Townsville City Church is determined to reclaim he ethos of being a man. This world is looking for male champions - men who are actually worthy of being leaders. The very frontline of our ministry is that we would become a generation that can model what it takes to be that champion. Like General Maximus Decimus Meridius in Gladiator, who would dare to stand against tyrany and injustice to fight for his family! We are called to be role models. Our legacy is not what material things we leave behind, but what we do while we are still breathing. 

 

 

Empowering 

Our Men's ministry is about empowering each other to be real men. Our breakfasts and year's events are designed to equip men. Through a support and prayer network we encourage each other to step into our destiny
